Biergemer Kabaisercher

The "Biergemer Kabaisercher", are prefabricated huts, easily transportable and durable because they are made of regional wood. Here you can enjoy the direct contact with nature and its environment.

You will find a natural atmosphere, an authentic landscape, and a whole garden in movement. Trees, hedges, bushes, and flowers of regional species will house local animals and insects.

Once you enter this place, you will feel the balance between luxury and "au naturel". In the "Biergemer Kabaisercher" of the Minett Trail in Bergem, the focus is clearly on the environment and sustainability, while not forgetting the comfort you'll find inside the huts.

The small huts are made of recycled cardboard. The walls are made of 24 layers of cardboard that were molded by a machine. The construction being very light, no foundation was needed. It was produced in the Netherlands and built in a single day. Their name: ‘Wikkelhouse’, meaning ‘wrap house’ in Dutch. Wikkelhouses consist of individual modules that can be assembled in flexible, creative ways, just like building blocks.
